As the Senior Brand and Packaging Designer at Made By Gather, I was responsible for upholding the Beautiful brand and growing its vision and reach. I played an integral role in packaging design, photo, social, print, pattern, and product marketing. I managed and expanded the brand identity, growing the brand from appliances to bedroom, living room, bath, and pet.
A Made by Gather company, Beautiful is curated by Drew Barrymore and sold exclusively at Walmart.

Beautiful is a well-loved and fast growing brand, spreading from kitchen electrics to lifestyle. I carried the Beautiful look throughout expansion categories.
Beautiful uses light colors, bright photography, and soft edges to evoke comfort and creativity in the home.
Production and Pattern Illustration
I developed, illustrated, and executed Beautiful’s Hydrangea Floral pattern. Working with printers, suppliers, and (of course) Drew Barrymore, I created a soft and elegant pattern that has been applied to kitchen electrics and stoneware. Sold exclusively at Walmart.
Packaging and Visual Merchandising
I expanded packaging design from electrics to categories across home. New products included bakeware, stoneware, cookware, tools & gadgets, soft goods, and pet care.
I worked with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop in-store marketing displays for Walmart and Walmart South Africa. I took care to incorporate break-out on shelves, legibility, and accessibility for consumers.

User experience is key for Beautiful. We want to be as accessible and user friendly as possible. I art directed photoshoots to take our photography from cold and impersonal to warm and accessible.

I worked closely with the Walmart team to create marketing assets to fulfill website needs. I coordinated shotlists, propping on photoshoots, layouts for web, and sku selection.

Lifestyle Photography
Lifestyle photography always tells a story and captures a snapshot of real-life. I got my hands dirty fluffing cake and crushing sprinkles to make shots look lived-in.
